Christmas in July 4 Kids Challenge

It’s Saturday and time for another fun challenge here at Send a Smile 4 Kids! This time our challenge is Christmas in July 4 Kids!  Create and link any holiday card for a child, and you could win one of our great prizes.

We have chosen this theme to remind everyone it is never too early to start making holiday cards for our kids. We are continuing to grow and we have many children in the hospitals we serve who would love a Christmas card and who can also choose holiday cards for their family and friends as well as their medical staff. Please avoid any religious themes as we never know the religious background of the kids or their families. Any fun holiday or winter cards would be great. Don’t forget Halloween cards (fun not scary) too. Of course you do not need to send in your cards to enter our challenges, but our kids sure love it if you do!

We have three very generous sponsors for this challenge: Dollar Graphics Depot is giving their winner a $15 gift certificate!  A Day for Daisies is giving their randomly picked winner a $12 gift certificate!  And Fred She Said’s winner gets a $10 gift certificate! TEAM S.A.S will also be choosing their favorite cards for our top three and the winners will receive a blog badge and an opportunity to be a guest design team member on a future challenge.

(July and August challenges will be on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays because of the holiday weekend. We will be back to our usual 1st and 3rd Saturdays in September.)

Now for some great inspiration, here are the cards created by TEAM S.A.S. for this challenge using our generous sponsors’ images. To visit any of their blogs or to go to our sponsor’s websites, just click on any of the names or the pictures at the side of our blog.

Wonderful cards for kids as always from our awesome design team!  You have until Friday August 7th at noon CST to enter this challenge. After you do, please consider sending in your card(s) to cheer a child who is inpatient in one of our fourteen children’s hospitals. All the information you need is under the tabs at the top of the blog.

**We have decided to continue a new tradition here at Send a Smile 4 Kids challenge. We all love comments and followers on our blogs, right? So we are suggesting- but not requiring- that all participants in our challenges pick 2-3 (or more) other participants in the challenge, click on their card, visit their blog, leave a positive comment about the card and become a follower of that blog. In your comment, leave a link to your card and blog and hopefully the blogger you visited will come to your blog and become a follower too. **

Stamping smiles 4 our kids, Karen
