Starting Early - Holiday Wishes 4 our Kids And A Card Drive!

Today is another great Saturday at Send a Smile 4 Kids! We are announcing a new challenge today as well as a Card Drive for our kids! Starting Early - Holiday Wishes 4 our Kids is theme of our new challenge. We named it that because it may seem early to make and send holiday cards, but we need to receive the Christmas cards for our kids in children's hospitals early in December so that we have enough time to deliver them to the SEVEN children's hospitals we are now servicing.

Starting Monday November 7th through November 20th, SAS4Kids is thrilled to be partnering with Paper Creations Ink for a CARD DRIVE for our kids! Here at SAS4Kids and at PCI, the themes of our challenges are "Holiday Wishes for Kids", and we are asking all who participate in the challenges to please mail your holiday cards to SAS4Kids to cheer a child who is inpatient in a Children's Hospital over the holidays. You can enter your children's holiday card at both blogs for twice as many chances to win a great prize from our sponsors! Then please mail it (and other other cards you have that are appropriate for children in a hospital) to any of our addresses listed here.

PCI has been a wonderful supporter of SAS4Kids right from the beginning, and we want to thank Sara and Michael and the PCI design team for all they have done and for joining us for this Holiday Card Drive for our kids! Here is a little about our friends at Paper Creations Ink:

Paper Creations Ink is a challenge blog and so much more! In addition to new challenges on the first and third Mondays of each month, Sara and Michael wanted to create a place where you could find a wealth of knowledge, read about current events that are taking place around the crafting community, discover more ways to able able to make a difference by being involved in a special cause, and be able to have FUN while creating. Isn't that one of the main reasons we have all come to love crafting? CREATE...LEARN... AND SHARE! PAPER CREATIONS INK!

We have three generous sponsors for this challenge: Stamp Shoppe Creations is offering one random winner a $15 gift certificate; Shelley's Images is giving a lucky random winner a $9 gift certificate; and Designed 2 Delight is giving a random winner a $10 voucher AND each of the Top Three a $5 voucher! That's right: our Top Three as voted on by our design team wins a sponsor prize this time from Designed 2 Delight as well as a  Blog Badge for your blog and a guest design team opportunity in a future challenge!

We are thrilled to be joined today by three talented members of the PCI design team as guests on the SAS4Kids design team! Here are their cards followed by TEAM SAS's cards, all using our sponsor's images. As always, you can click on any of the names to go to their blogs for more details and inspiration.

Danni's Holiday Card

Lots of cards, I know. But the sponsor's images were just so fun and so many kids in the hospital over the holidays would love a fun card, so we just had to keep on stamping and sharing! Now it's your turn - stamp and blog a fun holiday card for a child, link it here and at Paper Creations Ink, and then please send it to SAS4Kids for our kids in Children's Hospitals. All the information you need is under the tabs at the top of our blog. Our challenge runs from November 5th until noon CST on November 18th. PCI's challenge is from November 7th until November 20th. Thanks for helping us if you can.

Stamping smiles 4 our kids, Karen
